Vintage Bridal Shoot With A Twist

I met Emma from Purple Rose Photography last year at a wedding fair in Huntingdon. We talked loads during the fair and had lots of good chats and fun. Emma came across friendly and funny. So when I was thinking about having a good photographer to work with it was a no brainier really. I had been following Emma's work since the fair and just sent her a message and asked if she was interested. Emma responded yes without hesitation which I was super happy about.

MODELS
We were hoping to have 3 models but at the ended up with 2 perfect models.

Charlotte a young girl from the area who was just so wonderful to chat to while doing her makeup. She looked wonderful, she loved her final reveal and went for her shoot super confident in a beautiful dress which Emma chose for her.
Kimia is another Iranian girl like myself. I have known Kimia for many years as she used to go to school with my youngest sister who sadly passed away in August 2013 at the age of 22.

Kimia is stunning with her black eyes and hair and tanned skin. She can rock a good dark smokey eye so we went for it :).

NOT SO CONFIDENT
Kimia is super confident in herself, she is ridiculously intelligent and has studies Aerospace engineering in London. But when she was all ready to go looking amazing she was not sure what to do in front of the camera, a little stage fright maybe even. This was interesting to me as I had never seen her like that before, she always knows what to do and what to say lol but posing was not her thing. This is when you realize how having an excellent photographer who can direct well comes in handy. Emma made Kimia aware of her body and the space around her and in no time Kimia was rocking posing for the camera. The result is amazing and Emma and I both enjoyed this shoot and cannot work to work together in the future again :).

Emma is a photographer in Milton Keynes: www.purplerosephotography.co.uk
