Non-Laser Tattoo Removal

Body & Cosmetic up to 5x5cm

We use a solution which contains salt & saline as well some other ingredients to remove and lighten the pigment/ink tattooed into the skin.

The skin’s membrane allows only particles of a certain size to get through. By introducing a high concentration of salt and saline next to the dermis in the epidermal junction (where the unwanted ink is), water in the cells beneath and surrounding the pigment, containing lower concentrations of salt, will rise to the areas containing higher concentrations of salt.

This process is called osmosis. In the process of osmosis pigment is forced from the dermal layer of the skin upward to the epidermis by osmotic pressure in an attempt to become equal to the higher concentration of salt and water.

Unwanted ink or pigment brought to the skins surface is shed in the scab that forms over the procedure site during the healing process leaving new skin in its place.

Multiple treatments may be necessary according to the amount of pigment in the area and the size of the area to be treated.  Another factor can be the quality of the pigment and depth. Therefore, we can never guarantee the number of sessions needed to remove and lighten tattoos – although 2-6 sessions are a standard estimate for most tattoos.

A consultation will take place prior to the treatment to assure that only the unwanted tattoo will be removed. In some case, a correction is needed rather than a full removal. Such as an arch to the eyebrow, an eyeline flick, or hairstrokes, etc.

When it comes to body tattoo, only small mobile phone size tattoos can be removed at a time due to the trauma caused to the skin.

A removal treatment can be done every 8 weeks and no sooner. You need to allow full 8 weeks to see healed result.
