Lip Blush typically lasts 2–3 years or even longer, although this varies depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and skincare products.
A perfecting session is required 6–12 weeks after the initial appointment to reinforce the pigment and achieve the final healed result.
Most clients choose a Colour Boost every 12–24 months to keep the colour looking fresh.
Does Lip Blush Hurt?
Lip Blush is not a pain-free treatment. For additional comfort, I recommend applying an over-the-counter numbing cream approximately 30 minutes before your appointment. Throughout the procedure, your comfort is monitored and the treatment is performed gently.
Pain is very individual and depends on each person's pain threshold, but the vast majority of clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the treatment feels.
Healing Process
Immediately after treatment, your lips will appear brighter than the final healed result. During healing, the colour will soften significantly as the lips naturally exfoliate.
The final healed colour develops over the following 6–8 weeks, after which your perfecting appointment completes the treatment.
